How to use Orin

Orin is designed specifically to help you work with your Orbit system.

Orin helps you understand Orbit features and functionality, and explore your system.

Orin can't help with general questions unrelated to Orbit, such as general knowledge queries, personal advice, or tasks outside the Apteco system.

Be specific and clear¶

The more specific your prompts, the better Orin can help you. Include relevant details such as table names, variable names, or the specific task you're trying to complete.

Creating audiences¶

When creating audiences, follow these guidelines for the best results.

Be clear which table you're selecting on¶

"Create an audience of People who purchased in the last 30 days"
"Create an audience of Bookings where the destination is Sweden"

Match variable and category descriptions closely¶

Use "where destination is Sweden" rather than "to Sweden"
Use "booking cost > 200" rather than "high price"
Use "age between 25 and 40" rather than "young adults"

Other queries¶

For non-audience queries, provide clear details.

Effective examples:

"What selector variables are available on the Transactions table?"
"How do I create a triggered event?"
"What's the difference between a user filter and a dashboard filter?"

Less effective examples:

"Create an audience of my best customers"
"What variables are there?"

Ask one question at a time¶

Break down complex requests into individual questions. This helps Orin provide more accurate and focused responses.

Provide context when needed¶

If you're asking follow-up questions, provide enough context so Orin understands what you're referring to. Reference specific tables, variables, or previous results when relevant.

Verify Orin's responses¶

Always review Orin's responses carefully. Check that any audiences, selections, or data insights match your requirements before using them in production.

Rephrase if needed¶
