Patch 7: Cube caching failed queries¶

FastStats Service FastStats Designer

We've fixed an issue where failed queries on sparse cubes were incorrectly added to the cube cache, causing all subsequent submissions of the same query to fail.

To apply this fix:

1. Install the FastStats Configurator version 1.3.26033.20 or later contained within the WebService.zip file.
2. Use the FastStats Configurator to upgrade the FastStats Service to version 1.3.26033.26 or later.

3. Use the FastStats Configurator to upgrade the FastStats Binaries to version 1.1.26033.27 or later.

   Note

   FastStats Local users need to install version 1.1.26033.27 or later, contained within the FastStatsLocal.zip file.

4. Install FastStats Designer version 1.3.26033.29 or later contained within the Designer.zip file.

Patch 6: Distributed processing cube cache¶

We've fixed an issue where cube queries could return an error when distributed processing was enabled. If a cube fails to run in a distributed manner the system now falls back to running the query sequentially, rather than returning an error. This improves the reliability of systems that use distributed processing.

To apply this fix:

1. Install the FastStats Configurator version 1.3.26033.20 or later contained within the WebService.zip file.
2. Use the FastStats Configurator to upgrade the FastStats Service to version 1.3.26033.26 or later.

Patch 5: Designer enhanced build orphan counts¶

We've fixed an issue in the Designer enhanced build process where record and orphan counts could be incorrect when you configured the system to load orphans and grand-orphans were present. This issue could cause crashes when you ran queries. The process now calculates counts correctly.

To apply this fix:

1. Install FastStats Designer version 1.3.26033.22 or later contained within the Designer.zip file.

Patch 4: Log Viewer crash¶

We've fixed an issue where the Log Viewer crashed with a stack overflow error that affected both client systems and Apteco Cloud instances.

To apply this fix:

1. Install the FastStats Configurator version 1.3.26033.14 or later contained within the WebService.zip file.

Patch 3: Live Data installation¶

We've fixed an issue where the Live Data installer was missing required DLL files necessary for database connections.

To apply this fix:

1. Install the FastStats Live Data Setup version 1.0.26033.11 or later contained within the Utilities.zip file.

Patch 2: FastStats Service crash with optimised query code¶

We've fixed a crash that could occur in the FastStats Service when a complex selection involving data grids filtered by multiple conditions was run with optimisations enabled.

To apply this fix:

1. Install the FastStats Configurator version 1.3.26033.9 or later contained within the WebService.zip file.
2. Use the FastStats Configurator to upgrade the FastStats Service to version 1.3.26033.11 or later.

Patch 1: RunFastStatsJob utility fix¶

Utilities

The RunFastStatsJob utility stopped working due to a missing .dll file. The utility now runs correctly in both local and remote environments.

To apply this fix:

1. Install the RunFastStatsJob utility version 1.0.26033.9 or later contained within the Utilities.zip file.
