Data security¶

Encryption¶

Apteco Cloud storage, including all customer data in Apteco Cloud, is encrypted using the industry-standard AES-256 algorithm.

Apteco employee access to data¶

Apteco employees do not have access to Apteco Cloud customer data, other than when agreed by the customer to enable Apteco to provide requested assistance—for example, when requested in a support ticket.

Backups¶

Backups of Apteco Cloud instances are regularly made and the recovery process tested. The last three daily backups and the last four weekly backups are retained.

Data removal on termination / right to erasure¶

Customer data on Apteco Cloud trial systems is deleted within 3 days of a trial ending. Data on Apteco Cloud production systems is deleted within one month of termination of the Apteco Cloud subscription.
