Percentile statistics

Add percentile statistics

Percentile statistics allow you to find the value of transactions at different points in the data.

  1. Click on the report tab you want to view
  2. Click on the Statistics button and then on the window that appears click on Add Statistics
  3. Check the radio button against Specify other Table, Variable or Expression
  4. Drag the Cost variable onto the drop box
  5. The drop down list will now be activated from which you can select Percentile

  6. Type 25 into the box to select the 25th percentile

    If you click OK you will receive a warning that you need to add a filter that contains a relative date rule.

    In the example below a selection has been dragged on to find bookings made in The Last Year.

  7. Tick the box to Use Custom Statistics Name and enter the required description. If unchecked, the system will enter a default description.

  8. Click OK and then the Build button on the Segmentation tool
