Email broadcasting (user-defined)
FastStats users are able to prepare customer segmentation and data modelling in FastStats and upload targeted data directly into their chosen digital platform. The Email Broadcasting Wizard takes you step by step through the uploading process. If your email broadcaster allows you to define which data items to upload this can be done using a Data Grid where you can drag on the relevant variable headings. To use Email Broadcasting your FastStats Administrator will need to make configuration changes to your system.

Once you have identified the data for upload you can open the Wizard:
On the Wizard tab click on the Email Broadcasting link within the Output section to start the wizard.
If your FastStats Administrator has created more than one configuration template to use with your Email Broadcaster you will go to first step of the wizard - Upload Template
If your FastStats Administrator has created only one configuration template to use with your Email Broadcaster you will go directly to the second step - Source
Upload template¶
The first step allows you to chose from a list of pre defined configuration templates your FastStats Administrator has set up for use with your Email Broadcaster. Refer to your FastStats Administrator for guidance on the appropriate template to use.

Select the template you wish to use for your upload.
Source¶
This step gives you the opportunity to drag on the Data Grid you have defined for your upload.

Drag your Data Grid onto the drop zone Drop your datagrid here.
Key fields¶
This step allows you to define the Field that will be used to identify the Email address or SMS number.

Select Email Address from the drop down menu for the Email Field.
Additional fields¶
This step allows you to deselect any of the fields contained within your Data Grid.

Deselect any fields you do not want to upload.
Options¶
This step allows you to enter your login details to the Email Broadcaster's site and confirm where a copy of the files will be saved and who will receive the confirmation email.

Enter the Username and Password for your Email Broadcaster account.

Click the retrieve button to display all current List Names. Select a List Name for the upload and tick the box if you want it to overwrite an existing list of that name.

Click the retrieve button to display all current Message Names. Leave blank if you just want to upload the records.

Check the location where a copy of the list will be saved and use the Browse... button to amend this if necessary.

The FastStats User's email address will be used if they are logged in. Amend if necessary.
Finish¶
The final step will inform you how many records have been successfully uploaded.
Click Finish.
You will receive an email informing you when your list is available. Login to the Email Broadcasters website to continue with the process.
