Orbit Updater installation files

You need the OrbitUpdaterSetup.msi from the Orbit.zip file, downloadable from the software releases area of the Apteco portal:

Download and extract the zip file contents from the Current Apteco Orbit Download section.

Orbit Updater diagram¶

The Orbit Updater performs the following:

1. Polls https://orbit.apteco.com/FastStatsOrbitUpdateServer/nuget/
2. Checks the version numbers of the already-installed API and UI

3. If no Orbit installation exists, or if the version on orbit.apteco.com is newer than the installed version, the updater:

   • Downloads a new version
   • Updates files
   • Runs any contained update scripts
