Summary aggregation
Within a Data Grid it is possible to aggregate the information in a column based upon the variable type being displayed. For example a Currency/Numeric variable may be summarised in terms of a count of values or perhaps the sum of the values.
Applying summary aggregation¶
- Right click on the variable heading in the Data Grid and select Summary Aggregation.
The options shown will be determined by the variable type.

The calculations that are applied are based upon the number of records in each column. Remember the default Rows to Browse figure is 1,000.
