Make a selection

You can make a selection from a Data Grid by selecting records within the grid and dragging them onto the FastStats Workspace.

In order for FastStats to be able to make a selection from the records in the Data Grid you need to have the unique row identifier for the resolve table as one of the fields in the Grid.

Making a selection from a data grid

To make a selection from records in a Data Grid:

  1. If necessary, drag and drop the row identifier field for the resolve table onto the Data Grid and rebuild the grid by clicking the Build button.

  2. Select the records to build the selection from by clicking on them in the Data Grid.

    Note

    You can SHIFT click or click and drag to select a range. You can CTRL click to select non-contiguous records.

  3. Drag the selected record(s) from the Data Grid and drop them onto the FastStats workspace.
