Sorting records¶

To sort the Data Grid by a particular column, simply click that column header in the Data Grid.

Clicking a column header will sort it into ascending order. Clicking it a second time will sort it into descending order.

As well as re-sequencing the Data Grid, you can also group the information shown by different variables.

Grouping records¶

To group by a variable, drag and drop the variable header up from the Data Grid onto the space above the Grid as shown below:

The following example, shows a Data Grid grouped by the variable Occupation:

To see the records which have been grouped together, expand the tree by clicking the + symbol.

To revert back to the normal Data Grid with no grouping, drag the variable name from above the Data Grid back down onto the grid.
