Freeze panes

Freezing panes allows you to select data that remains visible when scrolling in a Data Grid.

Freezing panes¶

To freeze panes, you need to use the split boxes. The vertical split box is located at the top of the vertical scrollbar.

The horizontal split box is located at the left of the horizontal scroll bar.

To Freeze a pane:

1. Choose the split box you want to use depending on how you want to split the Data Grid.

2. When the pointer changes to a split pointer, drag the split box down or to the right to the position you want.

   

To remove the split:

1. Drag the split line back onto the appropriate split box.
