Chart dimensions

The Dimensions panel can be seen below the Chart display and can be used to add, switch, replace or delete the Dimensions by which a Chart is displayed.

Adding a dimension¶

To add Dimensions, drag and drop the required variable onto the Dimensions panel. (Re)build the Chart to apply the changes.

Multiple Dimensions can be added to the Dimensions panel with it being possible to display a maximum of two Dimensions in the Chart display at any one time.

When creating a Chart from a Cube, any Dimension included in the Cube will automatically be pulled through and displayed in the Dimensions panel.

Switching dimensions¶

To switch between Dimensions, left click and drag the required Dimension into the required position.

Removing a dimension¶

To remove a Dimension, right click and select “Remove”.
